p ¿ä¾à : This talk aims to take an overview concept of glass material and their applications. Glass applications are mainly categorized into 2 parts. The first part primarily focuses on an academic research with utmost ambition in fabrications and improvements for new materials. This research strongly engages the projects in the field of radiation shielding glass, Ln3+ doped glass for photonic applications and glass scintillators. The second part largely focuses on an industrial research and works closely with industries. The research activities involve synthetic gemstone from glasses, natural gemstone enhancements, colored glass, and recycling process of industrial waste to glasses.
