아래와 같이 물리학과 대학원 졸업 요건(변경사항)을 알려드리며 졸업신청 관련 양식을 공지해 드리니 참고하시기 바랍니다.
◎ 2017년 1학기 부터 아래와 같이 변경된 졸업 요건이 적용됩니다.
[박사학위 졸업요건]
(기존)SCI 전문 학술지에 1편 이상 -> (변경) SCI 전문 학술지에 주저자 논문 1편을 포함한 SCI(E)급 2편 이상의 논문
- 변경된 졸업 요건의 적용 대상자는 '2017년 1학기 이후 대학원 박사과정 입학자' 이며 이전 학기 입학자는 변경전 기준(박사/SCI 전문 학술지에 주저자 논문 1편 이상, 학회발표 실적은 동일)을 적용함
- 졸업 요건의 변경 여부와 관계 없이 '졸업요건 확인서(BKPC-1)' 는 2013년 2학기 이후 입학한 모든 참여대학원생이 제출하여야 함

◎ 논문실적
▢ 박사학위
- 2013년 2학기 이후 입학자
: 주저자로 SCI 전문 학술지에 1편 이상의 논문을 출판하여야 함 (게재 승인서도 인정함)
- - 2017년 1학기 이후 입학자
: SCI 전문 학술지에 주저자 논문 1편을 포함하여 SCI(E)급 전문 학술지에 2편 이상의 논문을 출판하여야 함
(최소 요건= SCI 주저자 논문 + SCI(E) 공동저자 논문, 게재 승인서도 인정함)
▢ 석사학위: 학위 논문 이외의 전문학술지 논문을 요구하지 않음
(학위 논문의 영문 작성을 권장하며, 국문으로 작성할 경우 별도의 영문보고서를 제출하여야 함)
◎ ◎ 국내외 학회발표 실적
▢ 박사학위: 환산점수로 총 6점 이상의 실적이 요구됨
▢ 석사학위: 환산점수로 총 2점 이상의 실적이 요구됨
- 환산점수
국제학회(*): 구두발표 4점/건, 포스터발표 2점/건
국내학회(+): 구두발표 2점/건, 포스터발표 1점/건
(*) 국제학회 인정 조건
- 4개국 이상이 참가하는 학술대회
- 총 구두발표 논문이 20건 이상인 학회
- 전체 구두 발표자 중에서 외국기관 소속 발표자가 50% 이상
(+) 국내학회의 경우 사업단에서 개최하는 워크숍도 인정함

A student must successfully complete all of the following to be eligible for graduation from the graduate school of KNU.
For those who entered the graduate course since (including) the 1st semester of 2017, the new regulation applies as follows.
(before) at least 1 SCI paper as a primary author
(after) at least 1 SCI paper as a primary author and at least 1 more SCI(E) paper.
◎ Ph. D Candidate
▢ Entered the graduate course since (including) the 2nd semester of 2013
- The student should publish more than 1 SCI paper as a primary author
: The primary author means the 1st author or the correspondence author of the paper.
▢ Entered the graduate course since (including) the 1st semester of 2017
- The student should publish more than 2 SCI(E) paper
: at least 1 SCI paper as a primary author and at least 1 more SCI(E) paper.
(This means that you should publish at least 1 SCI paper as a primary author & at least 1 SCI(E) paper as a Co-authorship) - The Ph.D thesis should be written in English.
- The student should earn more than 6 points by giving talks in scientific meetings.

◎ M.S. Candidate
- Although not required, the student is encouraged to write the M.S. thesis in English.
- The student should earn more than 2 points by giving talks in scientific meetings.

[Points of a talk in a scientific meeting]
- International Meeting(*): 4 points per oral presentation, 2 points per poster presentation
- Domestic Meeting: 2 points per oral presentation, 1 point per poster presentation
(*) To be recognized as an international meeting, the speakers of oral presentations should come from more than 4 countries and at least 50 % of all oral presentations should be delivered by foreign participants.
In addition, the total number of "oral" presentations should be more than 20.
These requirements apply to the student who entered the KNU graduate school since Fall 2013.
